The summit also focused on economic cooperation,
including how to address global issues like climate
change. The two countries discussed working together
on research and new technologies for energy and
the environment. They also talked about cooperating
in areas like semiconductors, batteries, and electric
vehicles, which could help improve both countries’
economies.
As the 60th anniversary of Korea-Japan diplomatic
normalization approaches, it is important for both
countries to find new ways to work together. The key to this is rebuilding trust. Honest
discussions and solutions to past issues are necessary for a better future in their
relationship. By overcoming old conflicts and building a stronger partnership based on
respect, both countries can create a better future.
In the economy, the two countries should cooperate even more. Beyond industries like
semiconductors and batteries, they should also work together in new fields like artificial
intelligence, 5G technology, and renewable energy. If South Korea and Japan can
collaborate in these areas, they can improve their competitiveness in the global market and
create a win-win situation for both sides.
The 60th anniversary of diplomatic normalization is an important moment for South
Korea and Japan to overcome past problems and start a new chapter of cooperation. The
recent summit has opened up new possibilities for working together in areas like economy,
security, and the environment. Moving forward, both countries need to continue working
toward real cooperation to build a better future.
