you receive vocational education but graduate from the 10th grade with additional school

classes, you will be given a certificate of completion of secondary education. Gymnasium
is a humanities high school that aims to prepare students for university and is devoted
mainly to studies. Students who studied here take the German SAT Abitur and, like Korea,
choose the school and major to which they want to apply. But if you don't take Abitur
and choose another exam, Fachabitur, you can only apply for the Fachhochschule type

of university. Finally, there is the Gesamtschule, which is a combination of Hauptschule,
Realschule, and Gymnasium. This school is recommended for students whose career path
is not clear after graduating from elementary school.

Germany is not a country with high grades of middle and high school students compared
to its national competitiveness. It is common for German students not to have prior
learning. However, in Germany, grades in middle school are not related to college entrance
exams, and there is no ranking between universities. Although there is an advantage of

being able to choose education that suits children's aptitude, there is also a disadvantage
in that it is difficult to change the direction of future career plans. The education system,
which can be developed with knowledge even though the learning process is slow, makes

us realize many things.
