HIGH SCHOOL
Q3: What do you want from next year's sports competition?
A3: I hope there will be more opportunities to participate in sports competitions with more
diverse sports next year. Of course, this sports competition was fun and exciting for
real, but I was a little disappointed that I couldn't participate in it while just looking
around. However, I am looking forward to Incheon Foreign Language High School's
sports competition next year.
In this way, I was able to know the small behind-the-scenes stories of D-Crew, and I
was able to see D-Crew's efforts to perform hard so that the students of Incheon Foreign
Language High School did not cool down. Regardless of victory or defeat, I hope
this event was a precious memory for all the students who worked hard in the sports
competition, the D-Crew, the cheering squad of each department, and all the other students
who cheered as hard as they could.
There is an essay called "Cheers to the Last Place." It was an essay that supports the
beauty of the lowest rank who does his best regardless of the result despite the fierce
competition with others. The essay criticizes a society that is overly competitive in
pursuing only first place and emphasizes that the lowest-ranking person who does not
give up until the end and does his best in his work deserves praise. As this essay says, I
hope that the Spanish department will do well at next year's sports day. I would like to
congratulate all the Chinese and Japanese language students on their hard work.
