Japanese Drama Club – プロポーズ大作戰
Main Characters: Sa-ya, Ryoshuke, Akiko, a fairy, Mery, Yuko and the other friends.

For us, regretting after failuring in love is a common feeling. But then, if a fairy suddenly appeared and
asked if you wanted to turn time back, what would you do? The topic of the Japanese drama club was
proposing. People usually confess their love to their lovers, but some people just can’t propose because of
timing. Their story was about this timing. Sa-ya loved Ryoshuke, but she couldn’t tell him. Eventually, he

decided to marry Akiko and sent wedding invitations to his family and friends. Sa-ya got it and she was
disappointed and regretted, not having confessed her love. Sa-
ya was feeling depressed when a small fairy appeared! She said

that she could help Sa-ya. The fairy asked Sa-ya if she wanted
to turn back time. Sa-ya agreed, and they turned back to the
time of going to high school. The fairy coached Sa-ya, but she
still failed to talk with Ryoshuke. For example, Sa-ya was not
good at playing tennis and wanted to practice it with him, so she

approached him. However, Akiko approached him and took him
to practice instead. Sa-ya sent a love letter to him, but she didn’t
write her name in the letter; so Ryoshuke thought that it was

someone’s joke and threw it away. Finally, she wanted to give
snacks to him but she hesitated. The fairy who was watching
Sa-ya said that she would give it to him instead of Sa-ya, but
the fairy didn’t know Ryoshuke’s desk so she put the snacks on
another student’s desk. Later, Sa-ya succeeded to ask him to go

to the fi reworks festival with her, and he agreed. But that day,
Akiko called him and said that she was very sick. He thought
about it and decided to take Akiko to the hospital instead. When

he arrived at her house, Akiko didn’t look sick. She told him
that she was not sick but that she had played a trick to go to
the fi reworks festival with him. He became very angry and ran
to Sa-ya. Sa-ya waited for him for a long time, but, because
he didn’t come, she left. The fairy felt very sorry so she turned back time once again. Finally, Sa-ya and

Ryoshuke met, got to know each others' love, and they got married.
It could never happen in the real world, but we sometimes want to turn back time. You should tell your
lovers that you love them, so that you don’t have any regrets later on. This drama also got a lot of applause

and cheers from the audience. The background music was so sweet; they chose the songs that the Japanese
department students had already learned, so many students sang along. The Japanese drama club’s
performance was very memorable.
