Hawkins talks about letting go, the way to control your own ego and emotions, and finding

spiritual enlightenment. According to him, if you let your emotions (that occurs in certain
situation) go by trying to focus on them (and your ego), you can accomplish your goal
more easily and comfort your mind also get comforted. He said, through letting go, hu-
mans can do much better and accomplish many more things. He even referred that even
physical pain and small disabilities, such as low visual acuity, can be overcome through
letting them go.
Of course, there have been many opponents

of him. Randall James, a magician who is fa-
mous as a supernatural power hunter, sug-
gested that, if Dr. Hawkins could prove his
theory in front of him, he would give 100 dol-
lars to Hawkins. However, Dr. Hawkins could-
n’t. Some people doubted him saying, “Is it
only a simple O-ring tests that can measured
the conscious level of great saints?” In addi-
tion, other opponents

even insisted that David Hawkins had mythomania. They say that
Hawkins said Mother Theresa complimented his book, but organ-
izations about her denied that. There’s a rumor that people on
many internet sites including Wikipedia uploaded critical com-
ments about him, so he tried to sue them, and that is not an atti-
tude of a spiritual teacher.
Dr. Hawkins said, “Truth is simple”, but who knows the truth about

his theory and him, lying in his grave. Whether what he said is true
or false, it is clear that he greatly influenced the spiritual worldview
of people.
