‘Ransomware’

What would you do if your computer does not work suddenly?
You might be frightened and curious. You can also lose every-
thing you saved on your computer. To prevent it you have to
know about Ransomware.

What is ‘Ransom ware’?
‘Ransom ware’ is a compound word (Ransom + Software),
which is a harmful computer virus. This is a malicious program
that steals information from your computer and locks your computer or encrypts your data and demands
some money so you can unlock your information. There are 4 kinds of ‘Ransom ware : , Cerberransom,
Sageransom, Walletransom, Crypt XXX.
Cerberransom - a virus program which most people are infected with. Giving
limit of period and audio guidance system is its typical feature.
Sageransom - Adding ‘sage’ at the end of a file extension is the feature of
this virus. It induces people to charge with ‘Help-sos’ file.
Walletransom - This is the Ransomware which attacks these server DB. The
file extension alters and some times booting up a computer does not work.
Crypt XXX - It is the general type of Ransomware, which changes file names
and file extensions. These days its appearance frequency is declining.

What are some cases of ‘Ransomware’ damage?
Already, 200,000 cases of infections have been reported.
Lots of countries including the United States, Russia, Taiwan
and others, were attacked by these viruses. When infected,
you do not have control of your computer. All of your informa-
tion and data is locked a by stranger. You can not change,
share, or even open your files. For example, lots of hospitals
and car factories suffered damage by Ransomware. Many pa-
