Management consult-
ants suggest several problems which a company could face and alternatives to solve these problems
through analyses of various requisite organizations of the company: the finance, accounting, personnel
management, future vision, distribution, and so on. They gather information on customers’ requirements,
purpose for the future, the scope of consulting, terms, and budget by interviewing customers. They
arrange the contents into an interview. After providing this to customers, they listen to their opinions and
analyze them. At later dates, they usually write three reports for project proposals to explain the results.
As they communicate with their customers, they can solve that companies problems and counsel them.
What kind of competency does as a great management consultant to need?
First, objectivity is the important thing for a management consultant. To comprehend the company’s prob-
lems, consultant must not be affected by on surrounding circumstances. They must be the judge sharply,
excluding personal subjective sentiment to find a company’s problems. Second, creativity is one of the
skills needed. If you become a management consultant, you will face many situations without clear an-
swers. Then, you must draw conclusions yourself, because there is no one to counsel you. If you don’t
have creativity you may have a difficult time as a management consultant. Third, sociability, foreign lan-
