Q. What do you think are the advantages of our school?
A. For the first, as a member of the student council, at our school it is convenient to raise proposal
subject. Like we mentioned earlier, we regularly accept students’ recommendations for smooth
school life. We make an effort as hard as we can to handle these problems rapidly.
Also, our school has high-quality facilities, and they are well managed. Some of the facilities,
such as convenience store, karaoke, and weight room, are hard to see in other schools. We
manage these places for students’ favorable use.
Pleasant overseas field trip of Incheon Foreign Language High School
Many students at IFLHS (Incheon Foreign Language High School), might have dreamed about
overseas field study. At IFLHS, second graders who come up every year go on annual field trips
abroad in the first semester before the final exam. Today, I’m going to introduce IFLHS’s overseas
field trip in detail.
Just as IFLHS is divided into three departments,
each department travels to a different country.
This year, 2024, students spent three nights and
four days abroad. The English-Chinese department
went to Beijing, China, and the English-Japanese
department went to Tokyo, Japan. The previous two
departments traveled same county that matched
the language they majored in. But there was an
exception. The students of English-Spanish went to
Taipei, Taiwan.
On the first day in a foreign country, the Department
of Chinese visited historic sites including the Great
Wall of China. The Department of Japanese went
to Tokyo Skytree and famous sights like Asakusa in
Tokyo. Students experienced wearing a Kimono and
visited Temple Sensoji. The Department of Spanish
visited National Palace Museum of Taiwan and
Taipei 101.
The second day, the Department of Chinese
and Japanese started international exchange
with sisterhood relationship schools. The
Students of the Chinese Department visited
BFSU Foreign Language High School and the
students of Japanese Department visited Tokyo Metropolitan Kokusai High School. While these
two departments had an international exchange, students of the Spanish Department travelled
around downtown Taipei. After the exchange, students started sightseeing the city again.
The third day, the Students of Spanish Department started the international exchange with
Dayuan International Senior High School, while Students of Chinese Department went the famous
theme park called Happy Valley. The students of Japanese went to Fuji-Q Highland which has one
of the fastest roller coasters. After the international exchange, students of Spanish Department
visited another school in Taipei, and went to the Shilin Night Market.
