                  2. What were some of the hardships you faced and how did you try to cope with
                     them?
▶ During preparation, my wrist was inflamed and therefore had to get physical therapy. But my
desire for winning got me overdoing myself and kept on preparing. Some of the 1st graders helped
me with taping and encouraged me by saying they will put in more. This relieved me of pressure,
and I felt so much better.

                    3. What were some of the most memorable moments on and off the pitch?

▶ Every single moment where we as a team put in the efforts is memorable for me. Winning or
losing, we played as one and I will never forget this meaningful experience.

                      4. What are the areas you think you could have done better?
▶ Despite our efforts, there were several injuries which gave us setbacks. We had to make
changes to the squad a week before the Sports Day because of finger fracture. The ones
replacing the original members were relatively less prepared than those who had weeks of
                        practicing before.

Notwithstanding the efforts put in by the players from the Chinese department as mentioned
above, it was the Japanese department that grabbed the victory at the final.

Event Match: Teachers, not the Students!

The Sports Day is usually regarded as one for the students to enjoy. However, there was a volleyball
match held for the teachers as well. This was somewhat different to the other matches held – the
students were now supporting their teachers they were familiar with. Each department had asked
some teachers to participate in this event match. Some teachers revealed their surprisingly talented
skills in volleyball and amused the students. In the end, it was the department of Chinese that won
                   this event match.

                                  The Basketball Tournament

The Basketball Tournament has been one of the most anticipated matches
to watch. Considered as the main event, the matches themselves were as
entertaining as ever. Once again, the Japanese department had secured their
position in the final. On the first day of the Sports Day, the Chinese department
went against the Spanish department. The problem for Spanish department
was that they had some issues with injuries on their best players. It was a tight
game between the two sides, with the Chinese department winning with a slight
                                     difference in the score.
