With an interview of students in the department of English & Chinese
From October 11th to 14th, the first grade
students of Incheon Foreign Language High
School went on a four-day trip. Three different
departments traveled to three different countries;
the department of English and Chinese to China,
the department of English and Japanese to Japan,
and fi nally the department of Spanish to Taiwan.
All three departments' students had a wonderful
time; and, especially, the trip to Beijing, China
was said to be a fascinating journey. Let's focus
on the trip to China!
The schedule for Beijing trip was organized
with various activities, since there are tons of
tourist attractions in Beijing like Tiananmen
Square, the Forbidden City, the Great Wall,
the Summer Palace, etc. The students not only
visited famous places, but also experienced
Chinese culture by participating in a cultural
exchange with Chinese friends of Beijing
Foreign Language High School by trying special
local foods in a chinese road market Wang fu

Jing and watching an enormous show in China -
the Golden Mask Dynasty.
I interviewed two students (Yujin Sim-10108
and Yooseong Kim-10103) from the department
of English and Chinese about this trip to Beijing.
1. What was the most memorable event from
your Beijing trip?
Yujin Sim: When we watched the Golden Mask
Dynasty performance, I realized China's love
of big scale. The performance was so fancy and
huge. It was amazing when a real waterfall came
down during the real show!
Yooseong Kim: I enjoyed the amusement park
the most. I didn't expect it to be a lot of fun, but
there were so many fascinating rides, especially
the roller coaster which started off so sudden.
2. What did you gain from this trip?
Yujin Sim: From this trip, I got a lot of positive
