The Basketball Game: Why are they here instead of going to the
national basketball team?

The winners of the basketball game this year was Japan. The fi nalists, Japan and Spain, played an
excellent and lively game. While they were playing the game, girls took a liking to the sweaty players

and cheered loudly. Although Japan and Spain both did their best, Japan was the fi nal winner. Each
player on the Japanese team dribbled the ball, passed well, received, ran speedingly and shot well.
Their teamwork was perfect. They showed us a real national-class basketball game and even students
who didn't know basketball well could have a
good time and understand the game. However, we

can enjoy the game more, if we know basketball’s
rules, terms, and techniques; so, let me introduce
basketball's rules and terms a little.

Basketball is two teams composed of 5 players
who compete for point by shooting a ball into
a hanging basket. Each team plays the game by
dribbling, passing and shooting the ball; and they
have to attack or defend without body contact.
