As the technology of producing fake fur advances, using acrylic, fake fur became similar to real
fur in terms of holding capacity and touch. Fake fur has many advantages, for example, its price
is relatively low compared to the real fur, and it is easy to wash and manage. The range of colors
is so wide that it can make you seem stylish.

For many reasons like reasonable price and ease of management fake fur is loved, however
there is a point that we must consider. It is a fact that fake fur can pollute the environment. Be-
cause since fake fur is made of acrylic, it takes over hundreds of years to decompose. There is
also concern that it may adversely affect the environment because a large amount of chemicals
are used in the production process.

This movement was fostered not only by the evolution of producing fake fur but also by a new
cognition of the public. Only a few years ago, most clients considered real fur as positive but
nowdays customers reject it. This is not a small movement of animal protectors, but a movement
which is caused by young customers called the young generation.
