were so excited, and ate unbelievable amount of meat.
We stayed at Tokyo Grand Palace Hotel. Each room had two neat beds, and was quite heimish, quiet
and large enough. Two students entered each room, and got two breakfast ticket.
It was such a quiet and beautiful night in Tokyo.
SECOND DAY
We had a nice breakfast at seven o’clock. Many boys and girls went to downstairs to have meal. At that
time, fortunately a graduated senior who have left to Japan visited us. Many students wanted to ask
questions about studying in Japan, school task. And thankfully, she gave our students a bunch of advices.
After that time, we went back to our room and wore school uniforms, because we had to visit Tokyo In-
ternational High school, where interacts with our school.
Before visiting there, we went to Koukyo(皇居(こうきょ) [코-쿄], 황거), where the king of Japan, Denno
lives in. That place looked like a small park. Skyscrapers of Tokyo were high, but in the king’s garden,
the sky was felt high and extensively. Our students and teachers walked along the path, and arrived in
front of the king’s palace, which used to be called “Edo palace”. A moat was surrounding the palace, and
a stone bridge was connecting the king’s house and land. The bridge is called Meganebashi (眼鏡橋(め
がねばし) [메가네바시], 안경다리), since it looks like a pair of glasses when it is reflected by the water.
Patriotic martyr Kim Jiseop who was a member of Uiyeoldan (의열단, an organization for independence
of Korea) threw a bomb at that bridge, though he failed to explode it.
We rode our bus for 20 minutes and arrived at Tokyo city hall.
It was a high building that has over 40 floors, and observation
platform at top. At there, we could see Tokyo downtown at a
look. But because of fog, we couldn’t see everything clearly.
And finally, at approximately 11:20 a.m., we arrived at Tokyo
International High School. Tokyo International High School

is literally “global and international’. Not only Japanese stu-
dents, but also many various students from abroad are there. In a class this writer entered, there were
students from various countries such as Ghanaian student, Srilankan student, Korean students, Chinese
students, Canadian student…and even North Korean student.
After short time to do some activities with them, we went down to watch performances of our school and
