From March 24 to July 28, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, one of the three major museums in the
United States, hosted an exhibition titled "Hallyu! The Korean Wave," highlighting Korean pop culture. The
museum organized this exhibition to explore the origins, evolution, and remarkable global impact of Korean
pop culture. It presents a variety of K-content, including music, fashion, food, film, drama, and beauty,
showcasing how Korea has developed such cultural capital through major works. This is the first time a
major American museum has held an exhibition focusing on Korean pop culture.
