Q. What is the most interesting thing in UD?
A. I think ECON in UD and CDM in HASSD are attractive.

Q. What is the thing that you regret while studying in UD?

A. There is no point of contact with other colleges. So, even

liberal arts courses should be taken within UIC.

Q. What kind of career do students in UD generally have
after graduating from UD?
A. Usually get a job at a big company or go to law school.

Q. What are some advice for students who are interested in
the Yonsei, UIC.

A. In UD, students have an interview in English. In HASS,
students have to meet the national college entrance
exam score even though we have an interview in Korean instead of English. Don't give up on both.

Especially, interviews in English cannot be done in a short period of time, so I think it is important
to analyze the presentation and practice English in advance.

Department of English Language and Literature

I would like to introduce the department of English
language and literature at Yonsei University. The

department of English language and literature studies
the usage of English in the past and present, the
system of sounds and characteristics of English,
vocabulary and sentence structure as well as meaning.

In addition, it deals with the practical methods to
understand English grammar and how to learn
English easily as well as the essence and universality
of English. Also the students in this department

experience the universal value and meaning of the
literature in Britain and America and learn various interpretation and criticism about them.
