                                                                                     The smart era is


                                                                   all the rage in Korea now







                  “We will increase competitiveness by boosting existing manufacturing industries and industries by in-
                tensively nurturing are as that will lead the fourth industrial revolution and creating smart cities based on
                intelligent infrastructure and eco-friendly energy.” Last October, at the reference held by the fourth round
                of the industrial revolution committee, installed to respond to the fourth round of the Industrial Revolution,

                Moon Jae-in president asserted this.
                 A Smart City refers to a new type of city that is characterized by a complete network of people living in
                the city and an efficient transportation network. The Ministry of Science, Technology and Information is
                hosting the 4th Industrial Revolution Com-
                mittee and is striving to spread services in
                the smart cities. To do this, they create a
                national data hub, connecting 5G and ob-

                ject Internet (IOT) networks, and establish
                a very early shared infrastructure. Now the
                government’s approach has really begun
                for the Smart Cities.
                   An  International  Telecommunications
                Union survey currently shows more than
                100 definitions of smart cities. Small tasks
                besides the creation smart services via the
                Internet of Things and big data can be undertaken to meet the needs of citizens, such as urban man-

                agement, safety, and cleanliness besides smart services via the Internet of Things and big data. More-
                                                                            over, creating jobs, attracting investment,
                                                                            and boosting the economic power of the
                                                                            city by realizing a society in which high-
                                                                            speed network based services are always
                                                                            connected are also goals of a Smart City.
                                                                             A Smart City, just entering the starting

                                                                            stage, is pointing out the lack of diagnostic
                                                                            models and specific standards. It is a time
                                                                            to prepare for the next stage of infrastruc-
                                                                            ture deployment to reach the smart city
                                                                            level that meets global standards. There-
                                                                            fore, it is necessary to establish various
