opportunities for mutual growth and development is the true role of a leader.
Warren Buffett and Bill Gates had an experience at the University of Nebraska
where they held a question-and-answer session with students. When asked how
to manage ethical leadership within an organization, Bill Gates responded, 'Gates
gathers in one place each year for discussions on new products and occasionally
issues direct orders. However, the most important thing is to have faith in the
executives' decision-making.'
A commonality between Bill Gates and Steve Jobs is engaging in discussions with
all employees, recognizing and praising the executives' decisions, and operating
with trust. This is a characteristic of successful companies.
