after the crime, the editor of the local newspaper, the San Francisco Chronicle, received a package
containing a piece of Stein's bloody shirt and a letter from the Zodiac. In the letter, Zodiac declared,
"I'm going to wipe out the school bus one morning." As a result, almost no people were seen on all
school buses in San Francisco, and children in particular were in chaos to the extent that they could
not be seen at all, but Zodiac did not actually commit murder on the bus at all.
Since then, contrary to people's expectations, no more Zodiac murders
have occurred. However, the Zodiac continued to send bizarre letters,
and over the next few years, he sent only one-off greeting cards and
letters to newspapers. So, from December 1968 to October 1969,
Zodiac was confirmed to have murdered five people. He targeted four
men and three women between the ages of 16 and 29. There are other
suspected Zodiac victims, but no conclusive evidence linking them to
the killer has been found.
The Zodiac Killer's unsolved crimes and mysterious persona have
made him one of the most infamous serial killers in American history.
His story continues to captivate public interest, and numerous theories and speculations have
emerged over the years regarding his identity and motives. Despite the passage of time, the true
identity of the Zodiac Killer remains an enduring mystery.
