former unit or work in an investigation department. There are some differences between a D.P. unit and a
regular soldier. Once you become a D.P. you can grow hair and wear plain clothes so as to not to be known
as a soldier when the deserter sees you. Also, you get a military police ID card that only executives get.
This is because this is the only means to prove that you are an arrest team in an emergency. On September 9,
the Ministry announced that the tasks of D.P. soldiers would be handled by officers starting next year. There
have been rumors regarding the timing of this decision, as it happened right after the release of the Netflix
drama "D.P." which highlights irregularities within the military and is centered around the "D.P." unit. Some
had concerns that the abolishment was an attempt to cover up issues portrayed in the drama. However, the
Ministry of National Defense stated that the decision to disband the unit was made in 2018, way before the
            drama's release and is unrelated.

Social Effects from the drama D.P.: military human rights
D.P. has raised awareness of military human rights issues in South Korea. The drama has shown the harsh
realities of military life, including hazing, bullying, and sexual assault. This has led to a public discussion
about these issues and a call for reform.
Since the release of D.P., there has been an increase in the number of reports of military human rights
abuses. This is likely because the drama has shown that these abuses are not isolated incidents, but a
            systemic problem.
Increased pressure on the government to address military human rights issues has been another effect.
The government has been increasing pressure to address military human rights issues. This is due in part
to the public discussion that D.P. has sparked, as well as the increase in reports of abuse. The government
has responded by announcing several reforms, including the creation of a new independent body to
            investigate military human rights abuses.

Is there any representative law for military human rights?

There are several systems for human rights in the army. The most representative of these is the Military
Human Rights Protection Officer System. The Military Human Rights Protection Officer is an independent
position appointed by the Minister of Defense to protect military human rights. The Military Human Rights
Protection Officer investigates human rights violations that occur in the military and takes measures to
provide relief to victims and prevent recurrence.
The system was introduced in 2006. Since then it investigated many cases of violations and contributed
to the relief of victims. However, the Military Human Rights Protection Officer System has some limits.
The officer can only operate within the military, and there are concerns that the victim's protection is not
sufficient because the military court hears and makes a ruling on cases of military human rights violations.
To resolve the irregularities within the military, it is necessary to strengthen the human rights protection
system and raise awareness and interest in the protection of military human rights.

            Conclusion
The drama "D.P." has raised awareness and sparked interest in the human rights issues within the closed
and corrupt environment of the R.O.K.A. Its success serves as an opportunity to bring about improvements
and efforts to protect the rights of soldiers in the Korean military. I hope that this drama will inspire ongoing
efforts to address the issues of secrecy and corruption, ultimately leading to better protection of human
            rights for soldiers in Korea.
