of a classmate.

Drama Fiesta

Drama Fiesta is a recital in which the English drama club performs a play. It is meaningful
because the staff members who prepare for the drama are all our peers. Actors, props
manager, sound engineer, lighting engineer, and even the director. Through constant
planning and practice, the English drama club staff members organize for this Drama
Fiesta. Through watching the play, students can take a rest and feel interest.

About the special curriculum of the first grade
students

In our school, there are plenty of events and distinctive classes that can only be experienced
at a foreign language high school. Even just among normal subjects, there are classes that
only exist in the first grade curriculum. Let’s find out some of them.

Art&Music class
Among the first grade students, art and music are very popular and special subjects. They
take an hour once a week and two hours a week each, and alternating time with each
other in the semester. In music class, we sing not only songs in our subject book, but also
others like pop or classic. Sometimes, a teacher who majored in voice sings for us too. In
the second semester, we also play an ocarina for our evaluation. The most interesting thing
of music class is a class concert. Each class here selects their representative student and
holds a first grade concert in the school hall.
In art class, students experience various types of art such as landscape painting, making
their own book cover, and team project with clay. What’s unique is that art class never takes
time off even if during the exam period. That’s because the teacher wants students give a
rest to their tired minds through art.

Science class

Science classes disappeared from the second grade in our school. Therefore, unlike most
regular high schools, the last time which we can take a formal science class is in the first
grade. Besides of the subject lessons, our school is providing special gadgets like VR or AR
in the laboratory. Although there is only a short period to learn science, students will be able
to experience high-quality classes.
