A. I realized that all my time and thoughts must be directed at it to get something I want. I always
knew which university I wanted to go to while studying for the entrance examination for three
years, and based on that thought, I was able to find myself going to the university that I had
dreamed of.
Q. What moment makes you proud of yourself entering Korea University?
A. I felt great satisfaction with entering Korea University by experiencing Ypsilanti, a Korea
University festival this year. It was a meaningful experience for me to see the performance in
a large crowd and feel the heat. Also, similar to me, I felt satisfied with going to college when I
lived with my motives of being interested in Chinese and with people who had the same goal.
Q. Tell me if you have any motivation or words that made you work really hard while studying for
college.
A. The teachers' cheer gave me a lot of strength. I've lived in the dormitory for three years, so I've
been at school for a long time, Warm cheering and light jokes from teachers when studying
late at night or returning to the dormitory helped me gain vitality in a difficult life. Especially, my
homeroom teacher told me 'Do your all best to show everything you prepared for the chance.'
That allowed me to regain my composure in tense situations such as exams and interviews.
Q. What is the habit that you thought you had to keep during your high school life?
A. 'Don't sleep too late, get up early, and never doze off in class' I always tried to keep these
three things. But when I had a lot of assignments and homework, I had to go to bed very
late. Eventually, I found myself dozing off in class the next day and realized that sleep had
a great influence on my study. After that, I went to bed as early as possible and woke up
early to practice not to nod off during the day, and as a result, I was able to study with higher
concentration.
