Respondent: Ye rin Kwon , Korea University 23, graduated IFLHS

Q. What is the difference between high school and college life?
A. College life is quite different from high school life. First of all, from an academic point of view, I
think the biggest difference is that you can register the classes which you want and make your
own schedule. In terms of content, the content in college is definitely higher and more difficult
than high school. Even in the same subject, class curriculum can be quite different by the
professor. In the case of evaluation method, there is almost no multiple-choice tests, and it is
more diverse than high school, for example essays, reports, and presentations. In general, you
have freedom in your college life, but you have to have the responsibility. Depending on your
will, you can have a lot of different experiences and have a good time, or you won't get anything
in the worst case.
Q. Why do you study international studies?
A. Since I was young, I have been interested in international and diplomatic fields. Especially I had
had a dream to work in an international organization from middle school, thus I naturally hoped
to graduate in international studies.
